Schools Out! Schools Out! Hip Hip Schools Out!

As previously stated I am so excited that school is finally out.  It is going to be a nice change of pace and I am very much looking forward to the change.  Of course it does mean I have to go back to work.  But, I really can't complain because I am just working through June and then I get the rest of the summer off.   I only work twelve hours a week so it doesn't cramp the summer plans to much. Monday is already packed full of summer fun.  I go back to work to teach all those little kids to swim.  I just love when the college kids come back to the pool in the summer because that means they get the big kids and I get the three year olds.  Who you just have to love because they worship you even as you are dunking them in the water.  S. is starting tennis lessons which she is way excited about.  She has been warned though that this is a summer only thing and I don't care how much she likes it she will not be on a team, she will not compete, i...

WOO HOO HIGH TODAY IS 64

WOO HOO the High Today was 64.  It is practically a heat wave.  I know you California girls are chillin with that 70 stuff.  But right now 64 sounds blissful.   Ok, enough complaining about the temp.  I did use the cool weather to inspire me to scrap some fun sled pics.  I'm just learning how to get them into the computer after I'm finished so bear with my imperfections. Last night was the father and son camp out so Al and I watched movies and hung out.  Every time S. came home she came up with another reason to leave.  She didn't come home for good until 9:30. It is hard to realize that she thinks she is to big to hang with her mom and little sis.  When did she decide to grow up and is there anyway I can revoke that particular right. :) Next year I am going to be a grouch and force her to stay home.  Tie her down with ropes and tell her she is having fun until she does. Do you think that will work?  "Big Sigh" probably no...

WARNING! I'M GOING TO RANT AND RAVE

All right enough is enough.   I am cold, somebody has obviously not sent mother nature the memo that it is spring.   Today is May 22.   Do you know what that means it means that it is suppose to be warm.   WARM I TELL YOU!!   I am so tired of it being cold.  For you that are thinking, "Hey it is warm here."   Well it is NOT here.   I am wondering if I have pulled a Rip Van Winkle and somehow missed summer.   Is it October should I be preparing for Halloween?   With a high in the low 50's rain in the valley and snow in the mountains it certainly leads me to believe that it is OCTOBER.   I have spent the whole season of soccer freezing and now I am spending the whole season of baseball freezing.   I'm so tired of freezing that I am going to . . . . Well I have no clue what I am going to do.   I am going to rant and rave on my blog!  So the world (ok, well maybe not the world bec...

When I'm an Old Lady and Live with my Kids

I received this cute poem from my cousin Olivia . I'm sure that all the mom's out there can appreciate the humour. When I'm an old lady, I'll live with each kid, And bring so much happiness...just as they did. I want to pay back all the joy they've provided. Returning each deed! Oh, they'll be so excited! (When I'm an old lady and live with my kids) I'll write on the wall with reds, whites and blues, And I'll bounce on the furniture...wearing my shoes. I'll drink from the carton and then leave it out. I'll stuff all the toilets and oh, how they'll shout! (When I'm an old lady and live with my kids) When they're on the phone and just out of reach, I'll get into things like sugar and bleach. Oh, they'll snap their fingers and then shake their head, And when that is done I'll hide under the bed. (When I'm an old lady and live with my kids) When they cook dinner and call me to eat, I'll not eat my green beans or s...

THUNDER

S.'s All Star coach just emailed us all a team picture of the girls. I thought it was too cute not to post. I think that maybe I am a little picture crazy! :)

No More Pencils, No More Books, No More Teachers Dirty Looks!

I am so excited for the kids to start summer vacation. Nine more days and it will finally be summer. Utah's winter seemed to never end it has really only been the last couple of days that it finally started to get warm. I swear I feel like I am frozen right to the middle. Nine more school days and it will be summer vacation. Which means warm, warm, warm summer sun. Oh and I guess it also means Sam and I will be heading to Hawaii. I guess I can endure that torture. We are excited for everything that we have planned for the summer. Right now life is busy, busy. Tomorow is the last games of AYSO soccer I am so excited, making sure four kids get to four games every Saturday has been hard. They love it and Brent and I spend Saturday trying to figure out how the heck to do it. And enjoying watching them play of course! H. and Al are also playing t-ball, and softball they are both loving it. This is H.'s first year and I just love wa...
