"I've Been Working..."

Well after two days of working, our office now looks like this.
Are you impressed. This just happens to be our desk. It is in the middle of the room for a reason, I promise. The paint color still remains in a state of debate. I'm all for trying the green.
Brent just keeps giving me a look and saying, "I like the brown."
"Well yes, I KNOW you like the brown, but what do you think of giving green a try?"
"I like brown."
I suppose that is the answer to my question. It just doesn't sound like an answer to me.
Meanwhile, here is a picture of the results of my two days of work.
Disappointed? It doesn't look like two days of work, does it? What if I say all the Christmas decorations are put up
and,
and,
sorry that is all there is. I must be a slow worker. :)
While I was working, Brent created this little contraption for me. Now, instead of all my ribbon being stuck in a box, it is hanging. Except, what do I do about the ribbon unwinding?

I am feeling better about the office. Also, I have a very strong desire to scrapbook. Guess, that is what happens when you find all your supplies. :) Except, we still have to paint.

GREEN!!!

Brent said to tell you all, "He likes Brown."

Oh yeah? Well, you tell Brent that I like the pink stripe idea. So there.

So organized! Come to my house, I have many piles just waiting to be organized.

I'm so showing this picture of a nice neat tidy organized Office Closet to my husband! He has tried to "clean" his office more times than I can count. He also refuses to let me offer any attempt to help him because he has "possession issues"! Congrats on a well organized nice tidy office! I can't wait to see what your doing with the color.

Our Christmas Letter

Each year I send out a Christmas letter and the one thing that frustrates me more then anything about the letter is that I can not include all the pictures I would like. That and Brent's rule that the letter has to fit on one side of one paper. I have gotten pretty clever with font size and margins to keep this rule. All you that have read this blog know that I am a sucker for pictures. So this year along with mailing out the letters I am going to post the letter with pictures. YAY ! So fun having your own blog to torture people anyway you want. Our Christmas cards were sent out on Monday so here in all it's digital glory is the letter again, this time with pictures. (Beginning of Letter) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We hope that this letter finds you happy, healthy and enjoying the holiday season. If you are like us, it has been a little bit of a difficult year dealing with increasing prices and a budget that isn't quite stretching to meet every thing you want it to...

Fantasy Land

The writer of this blog is currently in fantasy land. Meaning there will be no post as she is to busy pretending that she is on the sunny, care free, warm beaches of Hawaii. Apparently she is also under the delusion she looks smoking hot in a bikini and can currently (in the world of fantasy) be found on the beaches of Oahu sporting a bikini top and a grass skirt. Further evidence of how deeply she has entered fantasy land includes some very cute natives making sure her umbrella drinks are full and sunblock applied. The only thing she would like to mention to those of you still dealing with the real world and the endless hours of kids and summer vacation. "The water here is perfect and the sunsets are to die for please feel free to join me."

A Walk Through Our Fall Garden

We have had an absolutely beautiful fall. The weather has actually stayed unseasonably warm. While we have been busy canning and harvesting we have taken very little time to enjoy the flowers that are also enjoying the fall season.  So a couple of days ago I grabbed my camera and enjoyed a scroll through my flowers.  I Love this picture I swear it makes me think I can actually smell the rose.  Sadly this is a no name rose. I think we should name it don't you?   These little guys are from a start my friend gave me.  In fact my flower beds are a bloom right now with plants from her garden. These little gals make me think of quiet summer days.  They also make me want to finish reading "Anne of Green Gables," again.  Don't you think that Anne would love these little ones.  She would probably call them "Queen's of Fall," or something else romantic and fancy. These are mums and you should see the plant it is huge.  Again a start from a friend.  I think it is...
